Rising Waters: A year after Hurricane Sandy at Museum of the City of New York
A year ago New York City had a visitor by the name Sandy, a hurricane that left many people devastated, homeless and without power for days. In remembrance of the horrific time the Museums of the City of New York has curated an exhibition of photographs documenting the before, during and after moments that changed so many people’s lives. The opening night brought out many New Yorker’s to see what the experience of others during Hurricane Sandy might have been like! I recommend you go see for yourself, the exhibition “Rising Waters: Photographs of Sandy” is on view at the Museum of the City of New York from Oct 28 until Mar 02, 2014.
